Below are the Terms + Conditions for any event at Manly Pavilion Restaurant.

CAPACITY

Group Bookings in the Restaurant: 10 - 20 guests seated

Large Group Bookings in the Restaurant: 21 - 30 seated

Exclusive Events in the Restaurant: up to 76 guests seated & up to 250 guests canapé

Semi Exclusive Event in the Restaurant: up to 45 guests seated & up to 100 guests canapé

 Breakfast Event in the Restaurant: up to 76 guests seated, 250 guests canapé

EVENT DAYS

 Events may be booked any day of the week (depending on availability) in the restaurant.

Please enquire with our team for minimum spends applicable on Public Holiday dates.

EVENT TIMES

Restaurant events event time will vary depending on style and event space.

All exclusive events have a conclusion time of 11.00 pm at the latest, except for Sundays which must conclude by 10.00 pm. The booking times available are 11.30 – 3.30 pm or 12:00 – 4:00 pm for daytime events, and 6:00pm – 10:00 pm (event times be extended to 11:00 pm on Monday – Saturday for an additional charge)

Breakfast events may begin at 7:00am, and must conclude strictly at 10:00am, as Manly Pavilion Restaurant will open for lunch service.

Please note public holiday times vary.

 DEPOSIT, PAYMENT TERMS + SECURITY + AGREEMENT FORM

 To confirm your booking, we require an initial security deposit (credited towards the final account), as well as the signed security + agreement form.

The deposit is required within 7 days of receiving your confirmation, once paid this reflects your recognition + agreement with the Terms + Conditions outlined in this package.

Once you have confirmed your booking, we also require a signed + completed copy of the Security + Agreement Form - this is to be returned within 7 days.

Manly Pavilion Restaurant holds the right to cancel any bookings not held with a Deposit payment + completed Security + Agreement Form.

For exclusive hire of Manly Pavilion Restaurant, 50% of the minimum spend is due 60 days before your event (credited towards the final account).

Full payment is due 14 days prior to the Event date, no later.

Payment by cash, direct debit or bank cheque incurs no surcharge.

Any payments paid by credit card will incur a 1.7% surcharge – MasterCard, Visa or a 2% surcharge for American Express only.

All payments made are non-refundable.

Full payment for the event is required to be paid in full prior to the day. If payment is not received, we will charge the credit card details on file.

FINAL NUMBERS + MENU SELECTION

 The guaranteed number of guests attending is required at least 21 days prior to the event, for catering + ordering needs.

Once final numbers are provided, this will be taken as confirmed.

The final invoice will be issued to you 21 days prior to your event.

Catering will be provided for this number + this will be the minimum charged irrespective of last-minute cancellations.

Guest cancellations cannot be credited towards other elements of your event including additional styling.

All final food + beverage selections are also required at least 21 days prior.

All food is subject to seasonal change; however, notification will be given for this.

ADDITIONAL (SUPPLIER) MEALS

 Meals for entertainers, photographers + videographers must be supplied at $70.00 per person.

This will include a main meal in their break, + drinks throughout. It does not include canapés.

UNDER 18’S MEALS

 The charge for guests under 18 years of age including the food + drinks is $90.00 per person.

For kids under 10 years of age requiring kids meals + drinks, the cost is $25.00 per person.

For little ones (under 2 years of age) requiring no food or beverages, there is no charge.

ALCOHOL + DECORUM

Our venues are fully licensed venue. No BYO beverages are permitted.

It is your responsibility to ensure the orderly conduct of your guests.

All beverages are subject to seasonal change; however, notification will be given for this.

BUMP IN + BUMP OUT

Access for set up is 1 hour prior to your event, unless stated otherwise by your event Coordinator.

Bump out is to be completed directly following the event, and not the following day.

Any items left The Boathouse Group/Manly Pavilion Restaurant takes no responsibility of any loss or damage.

DECOR + STYLING

All major furniture items, fixtures + fittings must remain as styled + positioned.

Our Team are only too happy to offer complimentary placement of your styling + place cards. Anything additional must be discussed + approved by the Event Coordinator prior to your event.

The Boathouse Group offer an additional styling service to suit your event.

Please contact us for theming ideas + a quote.

DECORATIONS

 Nothing is to be nailed, screwed, blue-tacked or adhered in any way to any wall, door or other part of Manly Pavilion Restaurant.

If any items are attached to our walls or common areas fees apply for any damage occurred.

All decorations must be approved by the Event Coordinator prior to the reception.

 EQUIPMENT HIRE

 The Boathouse Group/Manly Pavilion Restaurant has established relationships with professional hire companies + has recommended suppliers to look after all your equipment needs + services.

Please contact us for further information on our recommendations.

EXTERNAL CONTRACTORS


 All external contractors + hire must be advised to Manly Pavilion Restaurant Events Team 14 days prior to your event + are subject to approval by management.

Manly Pavilion Restaurant can apply limits or time restrictions on the contractors.

ENTERTAINMENT/MUSIC

 Manly Pavilion Restaurant Event Team is only too happy to offer some suggestions for your music entertainment. All equipment must be supplied by your hired Band or DJ as Manly Pavilion Restaurant does not have facilities for this.

Whilst we understand that you are wanting music at your Event, The Boathouse Group/ Manly Pavilion Restaurant reserves the right to monitor the sound levels as needed, in accordance with NSW Legislation “Protection of the Environment Operations (Noise Control) Regulations 2017”. Please speak to our Team of any noise restrictions for your venue + maximum number of musicians permitted for a band

Please note, amplified music is permitted for exclusive hire – however, the noise restrictions state that music must be inside and doors closed from 10:00 PM – 11:00 PM if you have extended to a 5-hour booking.

 PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE

 The Boathouse Group/Manly Pavilion Restaurant does hold public liability insurance however all external suppliers will be required to have their own Public Liability Insurance. The Boathouse Group/Manly Pavilion Restaurant public liability insurance is very specific to our venue + fit out. No harm or damage to guests caused by any external supplier equipment, styling decor, furniture or goods are covered by The Boathouse Group/Manly Pavilion Restaurant

DUE CARE

 Whilst our team will take care, no responsibility will be taken for damage or loss of goods, equipment or merchandise left on the premises prior to, during or after the event.

The following items are not permitted; wax candles (unless in a glass vase), confetti, rice, streamer poppers, flower petals, or sequin-type scatters e.g. stars, hearts.

TASTINGS

Manly Pavilion Restaurant does not offer food or beverage tastings.

However, the menu at Manly Pavilion Restaurant will reflect the style + service we bring to your event.

 DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

 Manly Pavilion Restaurant Event Team are happy to accommodate dietary requirements. Information on dietary requirements are to be provided to the team 21 days prior, any dietary requirements we are made aware of within 21 days or on the day we will try our upmost to accommodate however this cannot be guaranteed

If more than 20% of guests have the same dietary requirement this may result in a selected menu item being replaced for all guests

For any cultural requirements please check with your Event Coordinator 

FOOD ALLERGIES

Please advise details of guests with food allergies when confirming final numbers.

Whilst the chefs + kitchen teams will do their utmost to ensure the said allergen is not in the meals prepared, we cannot guarantee it as our kitchen does use a wide variety of ingredients on a daily basis.

PRICES

Manly Pavilion Restaurant makes every effort to maintain prices, however they may be subject to alteration prior to your wedding or event due to food, beverage and general price increases. However, we will guarantee that the contracted base price per person for food, and beverage will remain, as per the signed contract. Though, any upgrades (food or beverage) to this base price are subject to price increases, this also applies to styling/floral upgrades as we cannot guarantee or honour previous pricing for this. All prices are inclusive of GST. 

SMOKING


 In accordance with the NSW Health + Hygiene laws, smoking is not prohibited within Manly Pavilion Restaurant or on the terrace, and the surrounding areas.

Guests will be directed to a designated smoking area outside.

INDEMNITY

 Manly Pavilion Restaurant guarantees the use of the freshest ingredients + ensures that food is prepared under the most hygienic conditions. However, no liability is taken by Manly Pavilion Restaurant for any latent defect in any product used.

PARKING

Please speak to our Team on parking options for guests.

SURPRISES

 The Boathouse Group/ Manly Pavilion Restaurant cannot be held responsible for the outcome of any surprises to be held + organised prior to, on or after your event day that has been organised by the party host, friend or family member known to the hosts. The Boathouse Group/Manly Pavilion Restaurant will do everything it can to ensure that any special surprises or organised presents unknown to the party hosts can be carried out.

FIREWORKS

 Manly Pavilion Restaurant does not allow fireworks within its venue, on the path, or in the Marina/Cove area.

 The Northern Beaches Council has a strict policy that restricts the use of fireworks on its beaches + in its parks.

Without knowledge of fireworks The Boathouse Group/ Manly Pavilion Restaurant will charge a $2,000.00 fee for breach of this.

Fireworks organised without maritime + council knowledge, holds much heavier penalties.

FLOWERS

 Manly Pavilion Restaurant includes a number of flower displays throughout the venue for your event. Manly Pavilion Restaurant cannot guarantee a particular type of flower/colour due to the nature of seasonality + availability.

These flowers are a display only + cannot be taken home at the end of your event.

EARLY ARRIVAL OF GUESTS

Manly Pavilion Restaurant events begin strictly at the organised time on your run sheet.

For any guests arriving early + before this time, a surcharge will be charged to your credit card.

The fee for this is $500.00 + $15.00 per person for every half hour that guests turn up early at Manly Pavilion Restaurant.

LATE DEPARTURE OF GUESTS

 Manly Pavilion Restaurant events conclude strictly at the organised time on your run sheet.

For any guests that depart after this time, a surcharge will be charged to your credit card.

The fee for this is $500.00 + $15.00 per person for every half hour that guests stay back.

If the restaurant bar is still open and serving (in the occurrence of a semi-exclusive or smaller) beyond your booked event, your guests are welcome to stay and buy drinks ala carte. Service and opening times will be left to the discretion of the venue manager on duty.

 SECURITY

 Organisers/Hosts are financially liable for any damage sustained, or loss incurred to Manly Pavilion Restaurant property, fixtures or fittings, through their own actions, those of their guests, sub-contractors + contractors.

Credit Card details are required at the time of your booking to cover any damages that may occur.

The Security + Agreement Form will be supplied to you on the day of your booking to fill out + return to the Event Coordinator within 7 days.

Credit Card details are the only form of security accepted.

CLEANING FEE

 A cleaning fee will be charged, at the discretion of Management, should the premises be left in an unacceptable state.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All payments made are non-refundable.

All cancellations or change of date made incur a loss of full deposit + any further payments made.

No credits will be given for change of date or for the general café, or restaurant trade.

Any cancellation made 60 days or less prior to your event, will incur a loss of 50% of the minimum spend.

All cancellations made within 14 days of your event will incur a loss of all monies due as stated on your invoice.

Cancellations must be confirmed to Manly Pavilion Restaurant in writing.
