WHAT IS THE CAPACITY AT MANLY PAVILION?

We can accommodate up to 200 guests for a seated event and up to 250 guests cocktail style, in our dedicated events space on the lower level. 

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE VENUE HIRE FEE?

The venue hire includes exclusive use of our dedicated events space on the lower level for 4 hours for an event, or 5+ hours for a wedding; The Boathouse Team to set up, pack down, and to take care of you and your guests for the duration of your Wedding or Event; standard plants and greenery display in the venue; standard table settings; casual lounge areas; a dance space and general venue styling.  

WHAT DOES A STANDARD TABLE SET-UP INCLUDE?

Fresh white linen table cloths and napkins, white dinner plates, white side plates, cutlery, glassware, and table numbers.  

WHAT IS THE LONGEST TIME FRAME WHICH WE CAN HOLD OUR WEDDING OR EVENT?

6 hours is the maximum time frame which you may hire Manly Pavilion for an event, and 7 hours is the maximum for a wedding. This includes your standard 4 hour event and 5 hour wedding + a 2 hour extension.

Any Extension involves a $1000 Venue Hire Fee per hour + a per person cost for your unlimited chosen Beverage Package.

All weddings or events have a conclusion time of 11.00pm, except for Sundays which must conclude by 10.00pm. Please note public holiday times vary.

DO YOU OFFER EXCLUSIVE EVENTS IN THE UPSTAIRS SPACE AT MANLY PAVILION?

We offer only semi-exclusive events in the upstairs space at Manly Pavilion.

DO YOU HAVE SPIRIT OPTIONS?

We can organise spirits for your wedding or event to be available. You can choose to have a pre-paid bar tab or allow for guests to purchase spirits. The spirits will be served from behind the bar, after main meal service, + must be mixed - we do not allow short, or service of alcohol neat or on the rocks. Please let your Event Manager know prior to your wedding or event if you would like to have spirits.

WHEN CAN OUR VENDORS HAVE FULL ACCESS TO THE VENUE?

Please confirm with your Event Manager access for setting up + collecting items.

HOW MANY BOATHOUSE TEAM ARE SCHEDULED FOR OUR EVENT?

Approximately one team member per 15-20 guests.  

DO YOU CHARGE A FEE FOR CAKE CUTTING + SERVICE?

Cake cutting is complimentary. 

DO YOU HAVE RESTRICTIONS FOR BANDS REGARDING NUMBER OF MEMBERS + LEVEL OF NOISE?

Manly Pavilion reserves the right to monitor the sound levels as needed, in accordance with NSW Legislation and “Protection of the Environment Operations (Noise

Control) Regulations 2017” 

DO YOU CATER FOR OUR GUESTS WITH SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?

Yes, we do! Please list all guests in our Special Meal Requirements section on your Final Details Form, + we will cater for their needs

WILL THERE BE ANOTHER WEDDING OR EVENT BOOKED ON THE SAME DAY?

We can take multiple event bookings per day in our dedicated events space on the lower level of Manly Pavilion. We only take one Wedding booking per day in our dedicated events space on the lower level of Manly Pavilion.

DO OUR VENDORS NEED TO BE SEATED AT A GUEST TABLE FOR THEIR MEAL?

They may be seated at a guest table if they happen to be a friend or acquaintance, however, most vendors will be happy to be seated in one of our casual lounge areas for their main meals. We charge $70.00pp for your vendors, and provide a plated meal and beverages.

WHERE CAN GUESTS SMOKE?

Guests are permitted to smoke on the exterior of the venue, so long as they are 5 metres away and not blocking any public walk ways. Smoking is not permitted under the arches.

WHEN IS MY FINAL DETAILS FORM DUE?

4 weeks before your Event.

WHEN ARE THE FINAL GUEST NUMBERS FOR MY EVENT DUE?

4 weeks before your Event.

WHEN IS MY FINAL INVOICE DUE?

3 weeks before your Event.

CAN I ADD GUESTS AFTER I HAVE PAID MY FINAL INVOICE?

Yes, you are able to add guests up to the day of your event, pending availability with our kitchen team.

CAN I HAVE A REFUND FOR ANY GUESTS THAT DROP OUT FROM THE GUEST LIST AFTER OUR FINAL INVOICE HAS BEEN PAID?

Unfortunately, we are unable to refund after the Final Invoice is issued.

CAN I LEAVE MY EVENT ITEMS AT MANLY PAVILION AND PICK THEM UP THE NEXT DAY?

You are welcome to do this, however all gifts + cards must be taken home by an allocated guest, or family member on the night of the event, and are not to be kept overnight at the venue.

IS THERE PARKING ONSITE?

There is no onsite parking at Manly Pavilion, however parking is available in the residential side-streets, as well as near the wharf at Manly.
